About this episode
Ibrahim was a boy walking to the shop in Nigeria when a car pulled up, a gate opened, and a mansion appeared behind it.
Ibrahim grew up poor in Nigeria, where property meant wealth to him from childhood. He worked his way up at the largest property investment firm in the city of London, then quit in 2021 to build his own Airbnb business. He took a family hit when his mother went into intensive care and was made to feel bad for asking for time off, while his wife was pregnant. He jumped into building an Airbnb business in 2021, and his first two and a half months produced no deals while bills kept coming. He now runs ads for his own students and secured three properties in one week when he tested the campaign himself.
He plans to double the business over the next year by turning the marketing up now that the product is built out. He is also working to reduce his mentorship price from £4,000 to lower the barrier to entry.
